How is life as a doctor in Singapore?

The answer is to increase consult time to 15 mins per slot.

Ever wonder why the person making all the executive decision in OPS (the ones that can kill someone) gets the LEAST time out of everyone to see a patient? I think even vaccine nurse appt slot is at least 10 mins.

Or have a complex care clinic (some thing like memory clinic, Health/mind clinic that my cluster already has)

Not good enough to be honest. Your run of the mill 70+ with multiple chronic disease is already a complex case.

HMC not v complicated esp if psychologist had seen.
They already formulate for you.
U confirm diagnostic criteria then is discuss about meds and community resource nia.

Memory clinic is for diagnosis
Not hard also ma.

I run both and few other types as well.

Single illness's clinic is not complex.
U dunno what to do then find it difficult.
If u know how , is chop chop one.

It's those multi morbid that is complex
Multi morbid can be collection of unresolved ops cdm or higher level out of control cdm like COPD, fluid overload

Essentially is rob those stable CDM time to settle these difficult one.

No choice lo.
Best is become specialist in a consultative role.
U do AIM , Geri , renal , Cardio become guardian of hospital dumping ground also sian

Best is do something like palliative, infectious disease , rad oncolo or interventional radiology

I feel interventional rad is the best
Do procedures but don't own the patient
Paid handsomely.
Use one wire can perform miracles to save lives.
Can be cerebral and read difficult imaging
Can be a jock and just do procedures
Can be mix of both.
MC someone will cover u
No clinic to talk to irritating patient
Can even remote work

Training to be a specialist has a formal training process which is very long and arduous. Not everyone wants to go through that.
There are other niche markets which someone has mentioned that GPs can explore. And it is not just Aesthetics. Need to have contacts.

FM also has formal training program ma. Not really so different TBH. Plus I generally feel that seeing undifferentiated patients is way harder than someone who likely has a limited diagnosis already.

Going take exams next march

Wondering which spec has the most
Efficient money to time earning ratio

I want to quickly get house and let my assets multiply
Im Already 23.
Dont want to waste any more time

I would not consider training for FM to be long and arduous though.
But you are right. That the work the FM does can be complicated and complex.
It is much better to be seeing the same type of conditions day in day out and be very good at that focused list of conditions.
