Yeah. The one migrated
Rental income after property tax and home insurance
And utilities not much profit.
Plus bad tenant can choose not to pay rent
But cannot evict them due to human rights.
Stay for free.
Trash the place. The security deposit only 1 mth of rent
Cost of labor and trades very high.
Lose money
Overall I lost money in property and businesses.
Only my stocks and medical billings earn money.

Also in other countries tenants got many rights.
Finding good tenant is hard.
Houses also have many things to maintain.
I regret investing in property. Capital gain not much.
Headaches with tenants and repairs and maintenace LOTS
My JB semid also have problems. Tiles keep popping up, got leaks now repaired, electricity meter like faulty and tenant don't want to pay full utility bill. Gotta chase tenant every mth for payment. Bought at S$400k. Now only RM3100 per mth rental. Barelt S$1k but better than my Sg 1 bedder that I bought for S$600k plus, cashflow only S$600 that time, though rental about S$2200. Sold it for little profits. Best investment still our own stay properties.

More than some Drs' salaries!
As long as sg prospers your COE will go higher
Car is for the uber rich next time
Or bankers and finance lawyers only.

I think can only afford 8-9 year old second hand car next time. Less depreciation.

My nephew spends a few k on grabcar per mth so bought a second hand car with only 6 months left. Says cheaper that way.

Yeah the beauty is it is next door and sgd to ringgit strengthen from 2.48 when I bought it to 3.3 now. So it makes perfect sense to rent out my Sg condo and stay in my JB semud.

In fact, some people who lost their jobs also lived in JB. Some Sgpn or expats working in Sg also lives in JB.

There was one guy who could work from home, built a very large house like a fortress in JB. It was featured in the news.

There were Sgpn doing online business who wanted to rent our JB semid too.

With RTS Rapid Transit System a mrt that links JB to Woodlands mrt Thomson Eastcoast line, more people will live in JB and work in Sg
. Due to complete in 2026, looking forward to it.

My nephew bought at $6.8k 4 mths left to drive, scrap value 2k a 2008 toyota altis. He spends S$3k a mth on Grab but earns S$5-7k still in uni. Gives swimming lessons and some other side jobs. Very proud of him. He and his sis were very swimmers who won many medals.

Can, under MM2H can. Malaysia my second home scheme. But now criteria increased a lot from rm10k mthly income to rm40k a mth. But there is a way out which I won't share in case it gets too popular and scrapped.
