Sigh...why are Drs' salaries stagnant?

Drs have lost influence over the years
Internet easy to find information
Only things like predicting the future then got money
Eg finance.

Market might be going sideways ranged bound for a bit.
Look to high dividend yield plays. Covered call ETFs.
SVOL - VIX play
TSLY - TSLA options
QYLD

Since the thread now discussing about property, thought I should ask as well.
I am taking mmed this Nov, if pass will get 200k/year, if fail will leave for gp land also ard 200k/year.
I am single and currently living with my parents. I am turning 35 next year. (Slightly older as I worked overseas for a few years before returning to sg, for family (parents) reasons)
So with 200k/year, would it better to buy condo, or resale HDB? (Have around 200k in CPF, and 100k in cash-savings and equities)

Yep, reach yr FRS as early as possible and earn compound interest. That is what I did. Enjoy the yearly interest from CPF.
If u r fulltime locum, CPF will also ask u to top up Medisave yearly.

depends if that house is leasehold or freehold
stay with ur parents buy ur own place- rent out that place to fund the monthly mortage- that would be the smart thing to do. But if you want your own space & need privacy , ofc getting your own place is the best . I am also getting my own place as i truly need my space. Plan to do more telemed from home once i get my own space
