See? Offer $160/hr for evening slots at OPS will have many takers.

This can be a carrot at the beginning. Allow this to become the norm over 5 years then no need hire these locums anymore.

OPS night sessions become standard.

The private sector also needs some competition to keep consult fees low.

I already at 250k 6 to 7 years post m.med
Haven't count cpf yet
250k 6-7 years post mmed? That's really high. Assuming what you say is true, why are so many mmeders leaving ops nowadays? I don't think chain groups pay 250k, most pay 200-220k only. Recently I have a senior with fellowship who left ops for "better opportunities". Can't imagine his pay would be lower than yours...

250k considered really high???

Wah lau I guess the standards for Fam Dr incomes in Singapore have dropped a lot!

For this month of Sept alone I already have $67,376.99 (after costs but before taxes). Still got another week to go!

Granted not every month is so high lah.

I am still on track for $500k for my financial year.

AC with fellowship is also same pay as an AC without fellowship.
Unless you are referring to consultant or senior consultant, but these people would already be directors / HQ staff shaking leg everyday; they have zero incentive to go private at this point.
Sweet spot to leave is when you are AC, beyond that should just stay because you can shake leg everyday and you have already worked hard to get to where you are.

5 years out of Med Sch - can earn $250K as a lock-in?

Is this true? Thatís what some folks are saying on the lawyer salary thread.

Wanted to clarify. Thanks!
