To get into smu law min 3 A at a level
There is no way a person with 3 H2 A scoring below gpa of less than 3.0
Even if he parties all the way

Of late we find ourselves getting disheartened and a few of us are considering leaving due to double standards and feel we no longer can work with current juniors.
Learned friends would you rather work with juniors that are:
1. Someone with good drafting abilities but timid at client interaction and engagement
2. Good or competent at client engagement but not the best legal work

Huh don't understand. Are you referring to yourself as the junior or the senior here? Who's showing favoritism to who? Your narration isn't clear.
Anyway small firms are the worst places to be in. Limited work and a pool of juniors fighting to be put on the firm's biggest cases (which isn't saying much btw). Ofc clear favourites will emerge and the less favoured juniors will languish with the small unwanted cases.
And, it goes without saying, below market pay.
Just get out of there ASAP.

yes this is true. During my internship at a mid tier corp firm, I met this SMU white horse who went around bragging that he scrapped through law school only by relying on his seniors notes and without preparing for his tutorials. Heard he subsequently graduated amongst the last in his class but nonetheless still above 3.0.

How many trainees do the firms offering E&W tc take? (some of them are dual Sg/E&W)
As far as I know the firms are:
- CC
- NRF
- Simmons
- Ashurst
- Latham
- Sidley
- HSF
