basically they keep emphasis you to justify this justify that

They claim need support from

- project
- client


so if you want promotion, better have a good relationship with the project MD and also the client directly


as for your CC and team lead, dun rely too much on them

sometimes they just gave an excuse say you are not ready to promote, then u also dunnoe what happen in Talent discussion
