does anyone know if Accenture Singapore has eased their hiring freeze? I was verbally offered a position back in April, was supposed to start work on 3 may, but was told that there's a region-wide freeze with no definite end date. appreciate any insights, thanks!

Have not heard about a region-wide hiring freeze. Perhaps maybe the department you’re applying to had their headcount reduced? Either that or the HR guy is smoking you.

yeah maybe the HR guy is smoking me, if that were true, that's damn dishonest and f up of him. I was also told that the headcount for this role was already reduced.
