My advice to those who are starting out a career in Accenture: always have an exit plan in mind. Don't spend years doing things that don't add value to your career in the long term (i.e. Ppt, dealing with old or very niche tech, doing unrelated things across your projects). Find opportunities and build specific skills that can comfortably land you a role outside in the future.

That one perspective
my other perspective, just want to find a chill and lepak role in tech, and Acn just nice to offer that, he does not have the expertise or desire to learn new tech, and just want to stay in comfort zone as long as the project is ongoing

Not true at all! You are in project based assignment, every spending must be justifiable, they wont spend money on extra personnel offering no contribution or little contribution towards the project. When I was the team lead, I always asks team members to tell what is your in the team during the performance review.

If you looking for a chill and relax environment, you should work in universities (non-faulty). They has tons of internal IT projects, quit relax ones.

The OT and "sweatshop" culture here is horrible
people are expected to stay late "in their own accord", if you go home early, you will be expecting a team chat or whatapps from your boss if they need u, they cannot wait till next week or tomorrow.
people are expecting to ownself find thing to do, if you finish your task early, dun expect to rest, or zo bo, if you zo bo, you will be labelled as "passive", "never take initiative"
so need to find some "task to do" in order to wayang
There is still chance for WLB, if nobody notice you after 6, quietly leave the office, dun give the boss chance to "catch" you
