i was previously in consulting as well for 4 years. Would I qualify for a Manager level?

It will be great if Acn offers you a manager/assoc manager role but I have seen people coming in with 4-5 yoe at a consultant level. If you can leverage your previous experience to nego for M/AM do it. But I see acn is pretty prudent nowadays as project pipelines are rather dry.

I'm currently only drawing low 8k+, which I'm sure is very below market rate and hence looking to look at 10k or even up to 11k. How would you advise?

We're you in tech or strat? Did HR ask your expected salary? If you are in start shouldn't be much of an issue. But in tech might be an issue. Suggest you don't take anything below 9.8 at least and look elsewhere

Last I heard was high 8

been working as a consultant in a big4 for 5 years and just got an offer for a role with accenture for 10k base. is this satisfactory? in line with the market?
