There is a distinction between Accenture strategy vs consulting both in terms of scope and compensation even if they are under the same umbrella. Using the same logic one could say everyone in Accenture is the same?

The pay difference is already a giveaway

Bro no one is saying Accenture consulting is same as Accenture strategy lmao. These two sits under Accenture Strategy and Consulting. We didn’t give this name, the company did. If you’re unhappy, talk to the company lmao. Consulting hires can take on strategy roles in projects and so can strategy hires take on consulting roles in projects. FYI, just so you know even if you’re hired as strategy analyst, it’s not guaranteed you get strategy roles in every projects, do an internal search on workday and you’ll see many strategy analysts and consultants end up taking BA, change, PMO roles in projects cos we don’t have that many strategy projects sold.

Even your fellow technology counterpart also want this prestige, immediately want to transfer from tech to strategy. Wah think mrt ah so easy transfer lol.

is changing project a big thing in accenture?

It's a troublesome process. Even changing job is more fuss free. But the easier part in changing project in ACN is you shouldn't have issue passing the interview... lol.

There's no proper process to go about it...

You either request for roll off and look for projects or
You inform your project you don't want to be extended and start looking for projs.

How to look for projects? It's all about connections, else you have to fallback on your TFS.
If you have no connections, then you have to ask yourself wtf have you been doing in ACN for the past few years. Yes, your PL, your PM, your MD are all connections, look for them. Most often than not if your PM is handling multiple projects or know some projects under the account is looking for people, they can help you switch.

Bro, the case interview is usually with m/SM level.once u reach interview w MD, is to check whether he like u as a person or not, largely behavioural and u most likely get the job
