Hi, I think it really depends on your client. Culture wise for accenture depends heavily on client's side. Btw, how much were you offered for your role in accenture? You have experience right?

4.8k including travel + lifestyle ya? any bonuses?

I have around 2.5 years of coding experience, had experience in aws and stuff like that.

I ended up going to amazon as i kinda like their culture.

I feel like accenture isn't really a place for techies.

Was kinda shock at the salary that amazon offer me too.

yes. remember you are working in project teams at accenture and the things you do will be dependent on what the client wants accenture to do for them. if you feel that your work isnt aligned with your interests then you can request for roll-off. bear in mind your next project may not have the things you are interested in either.

accenture is a professional services firm and not a standard corporation where there are departments of people who does business-as-usual stuff. know the difference by reading up online. alter your expectations accordingly.

Yep accenture isn't a place for techies.
It is a heaven for non-technical people who can talk well and present well.
Techies are not valued as they like to outsource technical work to low cost country like india/Philippine/vietnam. The only reason why they hire local techies is because they do alot of government proj and some of the module are impossible to offshore due to sensitive nature of the project
