i think u meant pre-employment screening as in the G50 screening?
or u including both the G50 and health screening
G50 --> depend on nature of your potential organisation, could take minimum 4-6 weeks?
no one has definite answer to the exact timeline, it's all ball park estimates 'cause the G50 screening remains shrouded in mystery tbh on what they screen
health screening --> assuming by then u 1/2 foot into the organisation, normal procedure to do health screening at the pre-assigned clinic to make sure u body parts bor daiji and can carry duties lor..so far quite rare to hear (though not say no have) retracting of job offers due to failed medical.

hi guys, i got offered a 2 year contract with ministry but the hiring manager told me, for this position likely no promotions even if i perform very well. Im currently comfortable at this level and okay if got no promotions, since havent hit ceiling yet. Lets say if i change my mind and want a transfer, how easy is it to jump to a higher designation or mx grade?

tbh no one can give u definite answer that it is easy / difficult to jump as things may change a few years down stream
u shd ask the hiring agency if there's any chance for emplacement if performance is good?
if its instance of finishing 2-year contract but no prospect of conversion to perm staff,
depends on what u r looking for
either take it first but continue to look for better opportunities
or totally don't take and stay put with present role for time being.

Just a title. Degree doesn't mean Anything if they sense he got no experience
Ultimately u just want a degree salary, and doesn't mind too much of the title
