Can I check if SB or GLC (ST Engineering in particular) requires the official transcript to proceed with management approval for hire? I am currently a fresh grad stuck at the approval process for 1.5 months since verbal/email offer was given to me in early May.

does anyone know if background check would be able to find out if someone has alr taken an offer elsewhere? I'm fresh grad applying for govt roles, still in the interview process. however, I alr accepted an offer in private sector that only starts in oct. I know it's a bit unethical but it's exceedingly common in that industry to renege offer, the companies themselves probably expect it to some extent as it's a "last resort" role that hires anyone with a pulse

u r not clear if u r given an indicative offer via verbal (very dangerous becos it's no B&W) or in written form ie email?

when u r expected to graduate from your final semester?
or you have already completed your undergrad studies and is just left with the graduation ceremony?

if it's the latter, think u want to check back with your undergrad office if they could issue u the interim transcript or something?

so meaning u have a private role due to start in Oct
whilst u r in some interview process with SB/Ministry and are in the midst of background checks phase?

yes to all except that I'm still at interviewing stage, idk if I can make it to background check stage hahaha but just asking bc I wonder how much they can dig up

Job 1 - called for interview after 20 days
Job 2 - called for interview after 43 days
Job 3 - called for interview after 61 days
So far no offer

Hi, usually how would ministry inform you of your probation result?

I am getting a bit worried, all my applications didn't even get the first call from HR. Is there something I am doing wrong like a weak resume etc? I was working in a diploma level role in a statboard before resigning due to personal reasons.

Currently pending graduation from PT degree.
