Resume problem, PT degree means have experience, used to old ways, difficult to mold unlike naive impressionable fresh grads

technically u not due to start until Oct
to me there's nth wrong technically if u were to go for interviews in this interim window.
cos even if u r shortlisted + make it past the interview rounds and come to the background checks to reach any indicative offer, it could well be months already

but u can be sure the panel r bound to (not necessarily all) ask if u r on the lookout at other places

then u have to weigh the risk if u r gonna tell a white lie (only to get found out by the HR since SG isn't that big circle tbh)
or be upfront to tell them the truth.

Got approached by a hiring manger from an SB to fill in a different role than i applied.

My timeline was pretty quick imo
Round 1 - Assignment. 7 days to work on it
Round 2 - Informed i was shortlisted 4-5 days after submission
Offer - 10 days after Round 2 interview, got a call stating interest and checking if i am still interested in the job.

Verbal and email offer was given on the same day but LOA given after security clearance, estimated 2-3 weeks.

About 1 week in, hoping to be given the green light and clear in the coming days 😰 the waiting and anxiety is surely is real...

tia gong diploma role work experience not counted as work experience for degree positions

Background: Received and accepted verbal and email offer in early May from a GLC. However, I was told to wait for approval for hire since then.
Today, HR emailed me this:
"We are still waiting to approve your pay. Another 2 weeks might be needed as your application coincide with our manpower review exercise."
Should I just take it that there is a high chance offer will be rescinded and go apply for other jobs?

bro 1 whole month pass since verbal offer I would assume they are not interested already bro notice period also 1 month at least bro

Always apply another jobs. Never keep your eggs in a basket.

Where got sia... 1 day feels like 1 week... hopefully like someone here clearance took less than a week 😂 anyway my verbal offer also got a start date, in 2 weeks (i suppose my clearance low level so they confident it wont take more than that)
