NTU vs NUS
Was from NTU, culture was really bad. All for themselves, join to believe. Benefits and salary are low, except for those who have benefitted from the 2 times pay adjustment in 2022 & 2023. High turnover yearly, good and helpful colleagues are leaving for better while those that are mean and unhelpful are staying. I'm glad to meet a few of my ex-colleagues here. Salary wise, I know alot have commented that NUS does not have 13th but not for my dept. Still have AWS + bonus so it depends on which dept you applied. All the best.

Not rose enough
equally busy. this is a sch and serving students so must organise many outreach events to get the numbers, u must be there! burn weekends and OT (some events until super late) cos students busy studying during ofc hours. workload can be heavy across every unit even research (i heard worse). the only thing learnt here is u need to be as busy, means u r needed. not lepak here to survive.

How long is contract if NTU Fixed Term Employee?
Just curious:
1. What are the major differences between being a perm staff vs a Fixed Term Employee at NTU?
2. If Fixed Term Employee, I assume it's a contract job? If so, how long is the contract?
Thank you.
