In reality, this is gonna be harsh so do take note if you are living in a student’s life environment and think it’s okay to left it there undone, waiting for people to do for you. That’s not the case unfortunately

What logic is that
Cannot finish also too bad must finish?
Cannot means cannot

What’s “die lo” supposed to mean?
Obviously cannot be taken literally.
If you mean there are consequences, what kind exactly?

What we meant is even if you cannot finish, you have to stay overnight / OT to complete. Give up on your sleep to finish those undone work. If dateline is Friday, and today is Wednesday, are you gonna tell your managers that you cannot finish when they need to review by Friday? Is the manager gonna forgive you? I doubt so. Moral of story is to finish even if cannot finish.. no choice that’s life. Like it or not is up to you to control your job to leave or stay to finish

Health issues will be one of the consequences that most people experience it. Or worst still, lack of sleep for days/ weeks can lead to pooor mentality or perhaps if you are too weak, can hospitalize. No joke, heard of horror stories before. Don’t be freighters but it’s a fact.

This is life come on. If you are still unaware or blur about the culture in big4, you are not gonna survive for sure overtime. Either you give up on your sleep or lunch/dinner to complete the work in some ways. Don’t forget that there are chances whereby you have to handle lots of work / 2-3 clients concurrently by chance. Definitely not an easy journey hope you are aware of it.

What he meant is to review any work other than awp. It’s not nonsense. Been through and experienced it.

Big4 is indeed a toxic environment to grow. People come and go. If it’s good, the turnover rate won’t be high. Come one. There are other places better than you, gotta remember guys!!
