Sounds like misaligned expectations to me. In the first place, when you signed up, you should already know from seniors or online sources (including this thread) what the salary package is like. So that quote, if accurate, sounds fair to me.

In my view, B4 isn’t meant to make you rich in the short run. It’s more like a training ground good to pick things up. There are other things to gain - but if you want money, then really this might not for the right place for you. Nothing to be pissed about. Imagine going to a clothing shop wanting to buy a phone and getting angry cause they don’t sell that.

Just go somewhere else?

These are for-profit organizations that generate hundreds of billions in annual revenue and top partners bring in hundreds of thousands to 1m per year.
