Q: Big4 - Yearly salary increment

Tbh we mid tier one see all these post sibei demoralized. Our a2 pay is less than ur a1 pay. We a2 only but need bao shan bao hai, everyday kena scoldings by the lj manyzer. Want to quit also cannot cus of the stoopig bond.

I went mid tier they say looking for talent then want reduce my pay lol. Offer me Experienced associate and offer me 3.1k. Pay cut me. Very funny.

the Low barrier to entry for accounting jobs are the real reason behind the Low pay given by big 4 or mid tiers

Technically at junior levels the job we do, doesn’t matter much u are from
Tekong Ali multimedia or local poly or local private uni

If we don’t like the 3 k, some poly accounting grads without a degree will happily take it up
That’s just life lah

I did the local poly > ns > local uni route.

ya.. I have to admit the A1 and A2 level I could have done with just my poly-skills and didn’t really have to tap into my uni skills at all.

But still, Technical knowledge aside, uni still improves your problem solving, general thinking and situation handling skills la…

Poly get 2.2k to 2.5k. They wait long long get 3k.
