My personal feel is almost everyone born before 1999 are kinda lame and living in a dream world. They are content to continue running on the hamster wheel and do not speak up. In short, beta character happy to be the NPC in someone body else story rather than be the main character of their story.

I genuinely cannot understand why so many generations and years of seniors were willing to put up with the demanding working conditions in Audit peak, including OT to hours which I mistakenly thought was a joke.

When I was younger I thought adults were wise and knew how the world works. As a young adult now I realise you older adults donít really know whatís happening either.

Worse, they feel proud and humble brag about working late as a badge of honor.

I agree that local uni grads should be hired at a higher level at the start. Just look at technical expertise. Some seniors work for so many years alr still cannot grasp the concept behind doing conso but local uni fresh grad alr understand since our uni days.

You can blame big 4 to have lousy training on this but understanding conso is really a differentiating factor between a good and a lousy senior.

That's why limpeh say just let the NTU/NUS/SMU fresh grad to start their position from M1 not A1.

They can start the technical stuff at their start of careers.

Since there is a lack of supply of local accountancy uni graduates, why not follow Grab business model?

E.g. Grab fares will get super high when there is demand right?

Why not use their business model to apply in audit industry?

The lack of supply of local accountancy uni graduates and demand for audit engagement to be work done = Higher Audit Fees
