Q: Big4 - Yearly salary increment

I think I must be in the minority because no one in my engagement teams these few months resigned at all, while in my first year here 80% were gone by Dec. How's the turnover at your teams?

My firm a lot AM and S2 throw letter already. Now all the managers fighting for manpower for their job. Quite funny to see 4 managers fighting over me to be their senior in charge for their job. Lol they dunno what they are getting themselves into when I’m not even the OT chiongster but more of an infamous chao slacker. I hope they don’t cry themselves to sleep during peak knowing that idgaf about their engagements and tight deadlines

Got an offer for IT audit in advisory department for 4k, not jhk, tried to nego with HR but they say standard with other big4. Am i getting lowballed?

With only 1 month notice ,
This period is the best time to throw letter , so that can avoid peak , and enjoy holiday

Tbh, depends on luck already, and make sure your CV can attract the hiring manager.

Reasons are :

1) Accountants in commercials are also competing for the same role, and they might stand better chance as they know how operate the acc software (oracle, sap , sapbw,hyperion) and have strong excel skill ( auditors”s excel skills are usually at beginner level)

2) auditors from various firms are also looking for such exit.

3) are you better than the rest of candidate that i mentioned in 1) and 2)

Tldr: job market is competitive
