By the way an LSE degree looks like this, ://.documentscenter.com/data/attachment/upload/Image/LSE2.jpg

NOT like this ://s27.photobucket.com/user/Raffles88/media/uol.jpg.html

And yes, yes, I am Bill Gates' son. LOOOOOOOOOL
im confused. you mean if you study in sim you get a cert?

whats that for? receipt to show that you paid for a degree?

SIMpsons have UOL on the degree certs, NEVER LSE.

LSE does not have distance learning. it might be difficult for nus/smu/ntu grads here, but UOL is the administrative body of a few - king's/LSE etc. my profs are mostly nobel winners, and they definitely do not lecture in singapore. period.

LSE is one of the top schools in the UK, no way will they allow the famed name to be misused on some half baked bunch of losers.
LOL just accept that you are the same as a UOL grad bro. Actually LSE is still fine, UCL probably gets confused a lot more with UOL.

But the only people confused are losers like SIMbians and other kinds of primates.

It dilutes the brand of LSE. What is a brand? A brand is name, label or tag used to assign recognition and achievement, given that brand's equity, to whoever that wears the brand. Why is a brand important? Because in today's environment, brands are used as an indicator to the employer on whom they *think* they should hire.

The people who went to study at the real LSE earn the right to wear that brand. And part of the reason they went through the process of getting the LSE brand is that they can distinguish themselves when it comes to employment.

These SIM graduates we're mentioning are thieves who stole the brand and wear it on their Linkedin.

well, to begin with, there's no UOL logo on the LSE cert. it's just not mentioned. LSE is an, i would say, independent body from UOL. UOL is merely an administrative body that oversees all the umbrella universities in london.

that said, i've never seen a grad prog (BB) let in some poser SIMpson in, even for a first round interview.

I agree with you. Though I don't see how your reply relates to mine, if that was your intent at all.

I was giving reason as to why there is this argument of SIM graduates, which didn't graduate from LSE in London, putting LSE on their Linkedin. They're having something that isn't theirs.

point im trying to make is, im from the real LSE, in london.

i dont really care what ******** SIMpsons put on their linkedin/cv - its just words aint it?

besides, hr knows the real deal from the fakes. like i said, they dont get into the FO positions or get called even for the interviews. majority of the BO ppl i deal with daily are from SIMUOL or whatever crap. theres a reason why they are there, and i am where i am.

Thank god my son went to SUTD instead of SIM. He didn't do as well as I hoped, but at least he's getting a better education at SUTD. Last thing he needs is a monkey degree from SIM.

Wow, is this the quality of LSE grads? Can't even string a proper sentence together. Seems like they are truly no different from SIM grads.

So what should SIM put down on their CV instead of LSE?
