9 years in healthcare, before that I had another 5 years of experience in another sector. Total 14 YOE.. very slow career progression and salary increment despite being in my late 30s .. 😭 really regret joining healthcare at the 5th year mark. Back then ten years ago our starting pay is really low and my yearly increment was only $100 plus a year. It only got better post covid but when you see juniors gotten higher salary than you after joining just a few years.. argh..

I'm in Singhealth. From what I understand from friends in NUHS, bonus is the same despite your performance grade? Different band gets different amount of PB,same for increment. Whereas in singhealth, if u perform better, you get higher PB and SI.
In addition, there is no fixed cap on increment in Singhealth, SI goes by a % plus a fixed quantum, likewise if you get a better performance grade, you will a higher SI.

I’ll be joining NUHS next month. How do I know which band I’m in? My job grade is AH11.
