NHG admin JG12, 4.8k.
Just joined half yr ago, is this considered a good salary for this JG?
Not sure whether to leave or stay due to what I read in this forum (low yearly increment and progression)
Would like to check if generally progression as an admin, how long does it take to promote per job grade and is it rlly a must to score an A (Outstanding) for a promotion?

in every cluster up until manager is typically 2 years.
but really depends on your RO, if you RO is the passive kind that doesn't fight for you can even take up to 4 years for a single promotion.
don't be deceived by your bossess on how promotion should work. Based on policy, you're eligible every 2 years.

no lah, in NUHS better performers get higher bonus as well. unless your friend is a new employee. All the new employee first year MR grade by default

For far too long nuhs have been hideous about their low fixed quantum increment for job grades, glad that by harmonizing AI this year, nuhs has been forced to follow suit
it was 130 for jg11

Is it just me or the salary for hospital jobs is quite low? Most of these jobs require degree but I see $5XXX after many years. The average pay is $5500 for both degrees and non degree jobs

This sounds pretty high for a fresh local uni grad going into healthcare. I am guessing that a huge adjustment happened for prospective new employees (fresh grads) because many resigned during COVID?
Just curious, do you also have the bonus retention payout (every 3-5 years) that was recently announced?
I think the ones who are suffering are those who joined before COVID happened. The sandwiched batch.

Actually I had two years of experience prior and had less than 10% increment from my prev job. Did not receive any sort of bonus yet. What is this retention payout about? And how much?

The starting pay is low and yearly increment is low. We don't start off with $5000 for fresh grads.
