Even if I pass you the real figure, you better doubt it.... You intend to collect information for your MBA study from a website like this...

what is your starting pay when you 1st join stat board?

your stat board under which ministry?

assume you started work in 2011 july, could you pls fill in the blank?

2011 - $_ _ _ _ start pay
2012 - $_ _ _ _ (please state annual increment or promotion)
2013 - $_ _ _ _ (please state annual increment or promotion)
2014 - $_ _ _ _ (please state annual increment or promotion)

I would say your salary is above average.

I have friend with 2nd upper with NS, 7.5 years with GLC, only getting 4.5k

Farmers usually max out at MX10, maybe MX9 if you're good.
Scholars usually reach MX9, maybe 8 if they're good.

MX7 and below are Admin Service holders.
Note that not all scholars are admin service officers.

contradiction right there.

MX scheme refers to the management executive scheme. this is the generic scheme of service.

admin officers are on the AO scheme of course.

An AO9 already makes ard 350k a year including bonuses. AOs can reach AO9 in their mid thirties.

An AO has to have a CEP of at least a DS. a DS can go all the way up to AO5-6 but typically AOs can start to hold DS appointments or equivalent when they are AO8. I

2012 - $3560 (Increment $200 then adjusted to $3680)
2013 - $4040 (Annual increment $360)
2014 - $4600 (Annual increment $360 + advancement increment $200)

in which year do you have your promotion?
you stat board under which ministry?

from 2012 to 2013, 3680 to 4040 = + 360 = +8.9% annual increment? so much? does it include promotion??

Same for 2013 to 2014 = annual increment = +$360 so much?

what is advance increment?

Are you a average C performer or B performer?

360 annual increment is like my 2 years of annual increment in my GLC company.

me also 2nd lower + ns (2007 batch ntu)

Thank u

you can't make this kind of comparison. CS and GLC are similar but different.

ST Engineering and PSA are GLC companies but one pays damn pathetic while the other has astronomical bonuses (easily 2-3 times more than CS). annual increments of 7-8% in CS are considered fair.

The figures he quoted are obviously before CPF btw.
