Is it possible for a fresh grad to enter at MX12? the salary is low though; just that mx12 sounds nice.
Does this mean I will find it hard to promote to MX11?

I joined as MX12. Apparently it's almost impossible for fresh grad with only 3 years of experience to be in MX11. Unless you're a super performer and you've been with the same organisation for the 3 years.

I think only certain job scope will be able to hop eg. HR, procurement, logistics, etc. since the economy is so bad now, staying in the civil service might not be a bad idea.

Male, NS, 2nd upper from NUS. 3 years experience in public sector, jumped to another Ministry.

Are you 28 years old also? Any idea how long it would normally take to take to get promoted MX11 since we are already at the higher end of MX12?

The 21 Rules of the Rich (and how you can emulate them)
21 Rules of the Rich and how to differentiate between the mentally/physically poor and the really rich.
Why the poor wants to emulate the rich but will never attain true riches.
The main difference is that rich people (either from hard work, inheritance, luck) has an action mentality as opposed to poor people who sit all day round and complain
Only poor people with an action mentality get out of being poor while the rest of the poor people complain for the rest of their life that their family, their friends, their government and basically the whole world owes them a living.

If i was formerly from a ministry and now re-applying for a position in a stat board or maybe even other ministries, will i at least get back my last drawn pay and job grade? Or same job grade but different pay? (And i have the necessary academic qualifications, and somewhat related experience in similar field from my previous "civil service" job?)
