Reason for asking the above is I wanted to venture into statistics in the public sector but I'm an accountancy graduate. It's either I study stats as a postgraduate degree or go on to do stats- related work.
If anyone is a statistician in the public sector, please kindly lend me your advice.

wad's the starting pay for local fresh graduate in stat board?
Am a female, 2nd lower (3.99, miss 2nd upper by 0.01 but bo bian)

cannot be, unless they are not fresh grad or not working for statboard/ministry. Also another possiblity is that they are working 5.5 week so the extra is for allowances, or maybe they are working shift duty (eg need to work graveyard shift) which will also give them more.
