Bean, he's already said that he has a pass degree. Probably took a 3-yr course.
Anyway, the whole forum knows you earn less than 1st class fresh grads...you can stop repeating it over and over.

Thinking of taking a part-time course in unisim. Is unisim degree recognised civil service(eg. stat board)?

I suppose you born in 1983 , working close to 4 years of exp.
2008, MX13>>>$3300
2009, MX??>>>$XXXX
2010, MX??>>>$XXXX
2011, MX??>>>$XXXX
2012, MX??>>>$4400
Can you please fill in the ?? and the XXXX,
Is the $4400 you had mention, is that the salary after this april merit increment?
I also noted that in Feb civil servant at your grade are given +10% salary adjustment
Are you a C grader or B grader?
If you annual salary = 16 months (included AWS/AVC/PB) = 16 x 4400 = 70400..
anyway you have done better than me working in GLC as an engineer, I am from 1982, grad in 2007 male, 2nd lower
2007july = 2.9k
2012july = approx $3842<<yes this is the salary after 5 years exp with 1 promotion.
you got 1 year advantage than me, and your salary is about $600 more

Mine is a pass degree, so no honours. I'm in the DXO scheme which has a different rank system. Guess I'm a MX12 equivalent. And a average C grader with yearly about $200 increment. No salary revision this time as revision was last done in Oct last year. And yes, $4.4k is after my April MI.

I appreciate that he's active in this forum, sorta like a moderator. Appreciate his tracking and contribution of other ppl's stats as well, though i'll just pass over his income details as I've seen them too many times.
Cheers

wow!!!, it seem that be a DXO is not bad after all, with a pass degree + performing C all these 4 years, still can get $4400.
my NUS friend 1st class male, is getting like 4.1K after 5 years in private sector.
If he join DXO as a 1st class and with 5 years exp, and base on your increment info provided, he may be getting at least 5.3K to max low 6K

Re: Promotion increment
Hi, recently got promoted from MX12 to MX11. But the promo increment was about $250? Is that normal? I would have expected more given that it was a grade jump.

what are ur qualifications? years of service in MX12? current pay (before and after promo)? All will be helpful in understanding/explaining your situation.
