Sounds like a good offer to me. Bear in mind that CS has great bonuses compared to private sector too.

I thought got only rank MX12? Why got MX12a? New rank? Whats the diff? Any diff in the pay ceiling?

so far I only know MX12b is from HDB as the entry grade for fresh grad. Ceiling is the same as MX12

The offer of 4.5k for 2 yr exp MX 12b is typical for better-paying stat boards. So based on remuneration amt alone, I would say it is a quite a good deal.

To note, it shld take u at least 2-4 yrs to promote to the next level - MX12a. Best case scenario, you can expect to earn ard $5.5k by 2024. You decide if this trajectory is sth you want.

This advice is coming from someone with 4 yrs exp of in CS.

Thanks for sharing! This means that a typical staff will reach arnd $5.5k from 4-6 years of their service? 4 years in the best case. How is the bonus looking like?

Civil service

2014: 60k p.a
2021: 105k p.a
