Assuming $300 every year increment, it is only 6k plus at 10 yrs due to low pay. But I don't know will $300 a year for every year possible.

hahaha poster could be thinking he/she will surely and progressively have increment until grade ceiling, then cross-over to next grade lol - so not going to happen unfortunately beyond MX11

I'm OP in msf convo. I dont feel cheated, I have 0 experience if you exclude internships haha

you should check with the HR tho, fresh grad pay is already 3360, 200 for NS (I just clarified with my ex-colleagues in hr, at another public agency)

you seem to be getting lowballed for your 2 years of experience unless suss degree is just not worth as much

Does a large proportion of private sector get retrenched? Or is it just a small portion?

It could be the 2 years of experience is totally not relevant to the post (counted as no experience), or only semi-relevant (counted at 50%, 1 year experience).

there are other SB who combine a portion of bonus to basic as well. like govtech or edb
To my understanding, EDB & MAS also have personal performance bonus as well as group bonus. So their total comp is really high

Dont forget, private sector peeps, with their years of experience in private sector, can easily join CS if they are retrenched and take on leadership positions (minimum grade MX11A or MX10) and earn decently high salary.

At least he didn’t throw in flexi benefits or include other benefits in kind lol. Prob took the definition of “gross salary” from those published stats. Book knowledge/theory FTW.

Seriously, some of these fresh grads need to get real.
