Sounds reasonable based on 2 yrs private sector experience and from SUSS.
If the starting pay for fresh is between 2.8 to 3.2, that's $200 increment every year. So it looks about right.

some ppl very funny.. like to include this and that into "gross" pay to make it like they earn alot..
especially in the govt sector... cos the HR always like to say up to 16 month annual package then divide by 12 to bluff the young adult..
in actual fact.. usually is just 15 month.. bonus is not guarantee

I thought many of the surveys out there often include employer cpf contribution?

its combined to the basic.. thats why the basic is higher compare to ppl in other agencies of the same grade

oh my good.. i am pretty sure he or she did not include employer contribution, he is just confuse.. haha..
i believe this is the monthly pay he or she was offered, includes employee's cpf contribution, NOT employer's contribution

I am farmer from mx, joined on 2017.
On 2018 became mx12 from mx13 with ~$300 increment.
On 2019 remain mx12 with ~$300 increment.
On 2020 became mx11 with ~$550 increment.
Some friends tell me is super bad increment, to right away quit. Some say is good. What is really the average for normal mx scheme with second lower hons?
To myself. Like this will take 10 years to reach $7k or 8k. It is too slow.

How about going to private sector and find yourself being retrenched at 40 years ago?
