- if the above rly happens to u, i rather u pursue a part-time Masters after getting your a55 INTO the CS. or at least ask for sponsorship / subsidies from your M / SB after joining them
- most of the advertised vacancies on [email protected] require just a degree
in short, focus on getting at least a second-upper from NUS / NTU / SMU (if u are even from any of these 3 unis to begin with) first. this is the most important part.

Hi on track for a 2:1 in my bachelor's degree. Would the class of honours of the masters affect the CEP significantly as well?
Would having a masters put me into a higher CEP when joining as a fresh grad?

DPM gg to speak tomorrow. The previous two budgets cut minister pay. I Guess it’s not enough and now I think cut all across cs Liao.

nope. if the job requires a degree, they will base on ur degree that u have. its the same as applying for a diploma level position with a degree. they will base on your diploma and also give u diploma level salary.

no. unless the job specifically ask for a masters.
CEP does not change with a masters.

If I enter one of the normal ministries (MX scheme) with a FCH ( NS) starting salary of 4k and perform averagely for the next 10 years, roughly what will be the progression like? Will I likely hit 6k by then?

100% confirm can.
in fact, most of the normal degree holders i see enter CS at ard 3k-ish. then within 5 to 6 years, their salaries went up by at least 1.5 times by staying in the same M/SB.
u dont need 10 years to hit 6k. an average gauge would be 5 to 7 years. heck it may even be shorter since u are FCH with NS...

Anyone experienced where the conditional offer is accepted but needs to be signed off by perm sect, and after 2 weeks HR says the application is unsuccessful? Am wondering if the headcount dropped due to covid or what.
The interview was very positive and the hr cant tell me why it was unsuccessful in the end...
