Agree, some ministries call them probation (i.e., MINDEF has a 1 year probation).

anyone familar with ICA? just for my own comparison. my friend designatio is "Head" of IT infrastructure operations. he reports to a DD. wondering his designation is tied to which mx lvl.

hi all, i'm looking to apply to iras as tax officer and i'm curious what pay can i expect in 2019 if female, nus 2.2.
grad last year, not much work exp except for 5 mths of temp work & 2 mths of full time exp before leaving due to bad fit.

NUS/ NTU females with 2:1s only get 3.5-3.6k. Please dont set her up for disappointment. A more realistic figure for a 2:2 (bearing in mind the gap between 2:1 and 2:2 is huge because 2:2 is not considered to be "good honours") is about 3k-3.2k.
