$500 increment is confirmed or speculated?
If you change job, first year package maybe lower than your current job as you will lose out part of your bonus (probably around 40%-50% as you might join May or June)
Since you will be just joining a new organization, I don't think there will be a promotion or big jump in the 2nd year and how do you rate yourself in your current company? How is the progress?
Monetary wise, there is not much improvement or might be lesser for 1st 2 years.

At where I am coming from, it is almost certain.
Actually if I do well and get a 16 month package, that would probably match up with my package after increment.

Really? I worked with a few DD from MAS and they all look so young. Can't imagine that salary. And one of them joining my company as Asst director only. Don't think our payscale for AD is above 10k..

How long doesn’t it take to reach DD in MAS?
Is the pay in MAS considered competitive?

Such a troll. Not all DDs earn 10-15k in MAS. There are young DDs in their 30s and senior DDs in their 50s. Only senior DDs can possibly earn 5 figure. Junior DDs approximately 8k onwards.

it all depends. at the end of the day, it is the total package.
the DD that i know is earning 5 digit at 38 yr old. but his overall package is the same as me as a SM in a government link.
for info AD in my company is 5 digit also
