Yea i joined at MX13. Was told by my supervisors that I'll be mx11 with this promotion. They're looking at opportunities for rotation but I heard that SB pays more and ministry work is not my cup of tea.
Not sure if I can ask for higher pay if I transfer to SB and if yes, about how much.

Doesn't say very much, many people get promoted from MX13 to MX12 in 1 year, and MX12 to MX11 in another 1 year. Esp guys. Find a job you're passionate in, do well in it, and the salary raises will come.

Will be a DSTA Merit (midterm, not full) scholar if I enter, but heard it does not give a better start/progression? Pls don’t give false info. It is extremely rare if not impossible to be promoted from mx12 to mx11 in one year. Minimally is 2 years and that is very rare already.
