also most SBs have their own salary schemes (with different naming/numbering systems), but would generally take mx scheme as a guide/reference

my place in general, but there are some overlapping
AD - mx11
SAD - mx11a
Head - mx10
DD - mx10
D - mx9
in my division all engineers are outsourced so i am not sure how it works for mx12 and below

Quite confused. Ministry based on MX, some SB based on MX and Grade. Don't forget there are subsidiary as well and based on their parent company grade. Are they all the same?

most ministries (civil service) based on MX (e.g. mindef is not MX but DX etc). most stat boards (public service) have their own 'similar' scheme. grades and salary could differ and overlap when comparing btw different schemes. so they are not all the same.

In this case, only MX scheme salary range can be found in the internet, even uniforms listed rank/salary, and thus, quite transparent. The rest, especially those based on grade, no information to be found.

just curious. would you be told your CEP / ceiling upon joining? do all ministries/sb tell you upfront of your CEP?
fresh grad here trying to find out more. thanks.
