Ceiling does not correlate to promotion. Two B grades is a good indication though. Usually that means getting above $200. It's looking positive for you.

Last year i gotten a B grade my MI was also 346.
This yr I gotten a B grade again plus promotion and my MI was 496

thanks for the info. i am totally new to the industry. is increment calculate based on percentage or absolute amount? what is the typical increment for average performer?

What industry are you in buddy? This thread is for all CS.
In museums where I used to be, my Gross salary was middle 3k, our (various colleagues) increment was about $200 +- $70 between C and B grade. not much incentive to excel. Never bothered to ask if it's a % or fixed either.

i mean i am a fresh grad, drawing mid 3k as well. Take 200 as a increment, its about 5%.. from the view of percentage, it seems decent.. but from the point of absolute amount, it is quite miserable..
