But it is really hard to get into

Typical package is 12 months + 1 AWS + 0.5 mid year + 0.5 end year + 1.5 months PB.
So around 15.5 months for C/C+ grader.

typical package 12mths + mid/end (1mth) + aws (1mth) + PB (1.5-2mths) = 15.5 to 16mths
you must be dreaming. no wonder you keep thinking specialist scheme pays alot more.
by the way to educate you, specialist scheme such as laws, econs, IT will have an average of 1mth more per year. however, it will be package differently at different agencies. some frontload, some pay extra bonus.

I am from another 'premium' scheme (other than FSO), I can attest that the 18/19 months total annual package is true... You will need to be a B grader with certain seniority (paygrade) though... And I got a B for my first year...
What you never/have not heard of doesn't mean it is all fake. Grow up and don't continue to live and think like a frog in a well!

dont mislead everyone here by comparing a "best case" against a "average".
speaking of good performer. someone in GT IT (17-18mths package) or LTA engineer (18-19mths package) with good perfomer can easily draw 75k to 80k first yr.
|
FSO average performer max 65k??? You pull the number from your backside is it. Can assure you average performer 75-80k is conservative estimate alr.

Don’t understand how folks can claim to be earning 15/16 months, when we only received 0.45 in months in June 2019, and 0.1 months in December 2019. Coupled with the April PB, at best you’d get 14 months in total LOL (on C grade).
This is civil service wide.
