On the other hand, Nurses do have their rewards.. For example, if you've got what it takes....heard a lot of success story of nurses who hitch successful doctors or bigtime surgeon.... Instantly become Tai Tai.. no need to work... Engineer go to work, everywhere see butch with bicep and mustache... Hopeless...
If engineering is so bad, why are there so many willing to enter poly and Uni engineering faculties each year. Many heads of private companies and civil service bodies are engineering trained. The famous Phillip Yeo and Koh Boon Hwee are two good examples.

Good looking nurses can hook a doctor (usually quite nerdy) and they are set for life.

Engineers are simply pathetic.

Scholars can study engineering, or anything they like. For the rest of us lesser mortals, studying engineering usually means a lifetime of misery.

There are also many ministers with engineering degrees.

However, these guys are from the past era. Engineering is only useful during this country's early stage industrialization. Now this country is all about banks, casinos and property.

Yah right... R are you a student recruitment officer at NUS/NTU engineering faculty?
Even if what you boast of is true... you are just an outlier among the statistics for engineering graduates... How many engineers can earn 480k a year?? Most engineers can't even smell 100k a year... Pathetic...

Annual income at 490K is like 35k a month!!! You're definitely not a typical salaried engineer working in some engineering company.. Impossible!!! I'm guessing you must be in banking and finance industry... Front office maybe... Fat paychecks, good commission...
