hahaha.. Dun be so angry...there are alot of boastful ppl here.....a guy starting maybe 2.8k (with NS) la...we all know the increment in civil sector..as with 2.5 yrs...means u get at most 3 x 400 = SGD1200 means ....maybe can get 1200 + 2800 = SGD4000 per month...but i would say super unlikely considering that last yr got no increment for most civil sector plus.....u need to be puttin gd performance......hahahhaaa.....i find it so funny that u are so angry....hahahaha.....are u his next door colleague....?hahahaa

Default civil service pay

working in stat board. Above average performer. Currently 37 yo on Grade II payscale (promotion long overdue). Have 1st class honours from UNSW. recently completed masters from NUS.

Started 1st 5 years of career worked as technical officer level (with diploma). Further studies overseas for 2 years, then worked as Civil Engineer with pay of 2.8k. Now earning around 4.8k per month ($70k pa with bonus).

I think I am bloody UNDERPAID! I suspect my peers are getting around $6k per month but too shy or stupid to ask. Can anybody pls help with some honest info? Greatly appreciate any help.

just in case, I'm contactable at [email protected]

Default terraces president

I changed numerous jobs since I graduated from SP. I took up part time professional accounting degree course and now I am drawing $5.5K pm + AWS + VB.
I am very contented with what I am now. To a lot of u out there, $5.5K is nothing but as a non-ambitious female, owning Car+Condo+Cash+Credit+Children, I am grateful I have it all.

I don't job hop but when it's time to leave a company when you got tired of the job, I will.

I came across colleagues who stay on in a company for more than 10 years, in the surface, they are loyal to the company. But underneath, their mentality of working style stay put since they joined the company. I am referring to those company who want loyal employee but stinge on training them up to move on with times.

Are you one of these people who are loyal to the co and wanted to get more out from the company with not much contributions?

just quote your expectation... 50% or 100% increase of your pay
if the job needs to take care of a lot of **** ..ask for more

nowsaday..every tom, dick, harry is a directory or senior manager...
