Kenna work like dog just quit lo.
From this thread GPs raking it in man.
200k annual package easily.
If u junior , might infact get a pay rise when u go private
If senior, then taking a hit of 30 to 50k gives u sanityw
Why not.

West side come at 0900 , leave at 0500
Central come at 0700, leave at 0700
East come at 0500, leave at 0900
Shouldn’t east side be fairly compensated?

LOL! Thanks for the laugh.
It basically refers to patients who are "walk-in". Polyclinics work on an appointment basis now, ostensibly to reduce doctor workload by limiting the number of patients they see per day into around 40 10-min slots, plus to reduce overcrowding and long patient wait times.
Of course that's inadequate capacity so there is a provision for "walk-in" patients, aka, no more slots left already. These are the 5000/9000.
So far only the east cluster sees them. Central and west cluster much better at protecting their staff.

Really ah? How bad is it in Central? Sometimes East can see up to 10+. Most days maybe 6?

One FTE is 45 scheduled appt. Plus 30 walk-in means you see 70 a day?
- only happens for urti in my cluster.
Thats like 9/HR in locum context

I think they use shared queue so probably need to divide between a few docs.
