medicine is a find fault profession. Focus on the mistakes and negatives.

Look at the other side.

has any doctor ever been awarded or rewarded for making an excellent diagnosis that could have been missed? Solved a diagnostic problem?

All downside no upside
Can u show me which clause in any guidelines is it stated that any doc is obligated to report medical neligence

Doctors are supposed to be rich. No need think of money or salary.
Historically only the rich and nobles were physicians. That's why got such things like "privilege to serve patients".
Also cos so few drs (need to be rich to be dr) the customers were called patients cos they wait so patiently.

Times have changed.
But perhaps we should go back there.
People like Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Greta Thunberg, they should go study medicine and help patients lah. And doctors should receive ZERO salary.

Lol reality of the world.

During your med school interview, if asked why you choose to be a doctor, how many people say things like they want to help people vs they want to make salaries

Lol

Utuerly depressed. Still having PTSD from viva and slides. (Sadly couldn't answer a few questions in the viva, praying that my examiner is a nice one)
