In fact, it should be the specialists and hospital staff getting pay raise.
Dont worry, AAR and allowances are coming, hang in there hospital staff.

You are right man. R4 taking exam next Saturday. More I study, the more I feel I am preparing for a irrelevant degree, esp given that I am already planning to join gp land after the exams (have aceepted an offer with a chain grp)

Nth special. 15k/mth, 21 days AL for 44 hrs contract.
No guaranteed bonus, but have 13th month. Similar pay to a 1st year mmeder (annual package
Good enough for me. (I not overly ambitious type, so sometimes also wonder why I am doing mmed. But since already sign up, just try lo)

No offence but you are grossly underpaid relative to your peers with similar years of experience, but opted to exit to GP land after bond.
They are already earning $12000 a month while you are a FM resident making only $9000/month.
Most of them are already making over $20000 a month by now either as an anchor GP or even more if they choose to become an aesthetics practitioner

By invite only la.
I have to locum 2 times a week for a few months
at their regular clinic before they feel I'm a good fit for their anchor position
I had tea with a few of the anchor partners
Their scheme quite good
After 3 years u can gradually buy into partnership if u grow the business for them
Max 50 percent at year 10.
Dun buy also can just long term employee
Later on u can put forth money to support a new clinic.
Think the boss smartest..he got share in every clinic.

You said it right… “grow the business”… none of that knowledge can be acquired by going through FM residency and doing the MMED.
It’s all real world knowledge. You need to be out there on the ground to cultivate your people skills and business acumen.
Better to just quit to GP land after bond. Don’t waste time doing MMED.
