At least Arvin Lee is a real lawyer whereas Clarence Lun is just a pretend-lawyer with no rights of audience anywhere?

My boss is a high flyer but gaslighter… his narcissism comes from his insecurity but he masks it well cuz he’s smart n snuffs out the competition one by one…

His bosses are more or less led by the nose by him…

Short of quitting which is what he wants, any one has experience how to tackle such a person?

I echo. I have seen a trainee bootlicking sucking slurping hard a partner but bitching hard about the partner behind his back. She then plays every associate and betrays her fellow trainee and rats his **** out.

BTW this is in an international law firm.

For real not? Why did this trainee b***h abt the partner (who would have some part in deciding their future in the firm), n if others also know, why doesn’t the partner do anything abt it?

This trainee is Singaporean?

OP here. Trainee not very clever think can play every side and not get caught.

May be Malasysian but from SMU.

Partner doesn't know or refuses to know cos of slurping.

Learned friend after working with a similar trainee like yours in my previous firm where I never wanted to work with any trainees or interns again.

I painstakingly guided the trainee when he/she had issues, only to be ratted on when he/she got caught by the partners in other files we got put in.

Assocs were just as bad in my ex firm. One was just a year’s PQE higher and regularly used abusive language on me. Some CMI overseas grad who thumbed trainees down. I pity those working under the Assoc who is in a larger firm now.

I’m happier doing the stuff myself now at my current firm. 1+ PQE here. Slightly bigger but much better place.
