Is a TC at A&G (Corporate M&A) better or worse than R&T (same practice area)? I'm looking to balance pay, exposure to deal flows, with work life balance to pursue interests / side gigs out of corporate life.

OP is asking about work life balance vis-a-vis deal flows. Seems like you have a comprehension issue.

RT is crap for culture. Associates sit in a cubicle farm. Super bad for concentration as there are distractions all around.

Means if u had a choice, choose the firm that offers associates proper work environments. Theres no work life balance in either firm. A&G has better exit opportunities where you can get work life balance.
