They also know u nowhere to go cos the other local firms all doing the same.

Intl firm teams smaller more efficient more flat structure. Cut pay? Will get poached by someone who will pay and recognise the talent.

Tldr the same assoc who was in a sg firm will suddenly double ir more than double his pay gg intl overnight. Same dude became einstein overnight?

Know your worth and your value people. Dont sell yourself short. Dont bluff yourself

110% spot on lol.

B4 and local firms have such a warped remuneration structure for the partners. Many intl firm SAs move back to local firms to make partners simply because of this. The local firms collectively suppress remuneration to the junior assocs because they know the intl firms in SG with vacancies are far and few btwn. This means that once you reach the B4-level firms, the likelihood is that you have nowhere else to go other than to stay or go inhouse.

But the thing is, once you make it into the partner-club and can earn that top dollar in a local firm, there's no incentive for you to try to fix this.

Only way is for MinLaw to step in and de-regulate the industry by removing the QLFP and allowing the global firms to properly compete in the local market.

What’s the stats like for NQ vs PEP though? For MC firms that’s easily like 20x. Do EPs in big4 earn way more than 100k a month? I guess that’s possible. Time to unionize!

If you don't toe the line, you are instantly replaceable by hungry FTs willing to work for less, period. Consider yourself lucky to be born in Singapore.

I'm not the OP but isn't this ridiculous. The person asking for the chio assocs names so he can go find them on insta. Your response is, lol why doesn't he just look at their instas. If he knows their instas he also won't be asking here lol.
