That’ll require some creativity and homework on your part. Start by asking yourself what’s the real reason you wanna change. And then think from the perspective of your current and future bosses and try to come up with some reasons they’ll think are not too shitty sounding.

You can think in terms of push and pull reasons.

Push reasons - eg you don’t like adversarial nature of liti; you are not an aggressive person; don’t like to go court
Pull reasons - eg you enjoy facilitating the closing of transaction (if you have assisted in deals before); you have taken advanced corporate practice/ cross border transactions in part B and you enjoy them; you prefer cross border work and Corp allows you to do more of it as compared to liti which is more domestic in nature.

Some reasons some more fake than others and bosses can smell the bull **** reasons from a mile away so it ultimately depends on your own reasons and how convincing you can be when telling them. Best to practice your reasons and test them with your friends to get their reaction as to whether you sound like you are bull shitting when you are telling your reasons

Good luck! I’ve trained Liti and managed to switch to Corp before my TC ended and I’ve never looked back since.

Bro when you work 20 hours a day in a law firm, even mediocre 5/10 law girls (which form the majority) look good. Sorta like army boys stuck in tekong with female recruits.

Then once these red blooded young lawyers walk around MBFC and see those banking chicks in tight dresses, they jizz their pants right away

I’m an alpha male in so far as studies are concerned and work as well,
But don’t really know how to chat up a girl in a social context and ask to be an item.

If you need relationship advice on an anon forum, chances are your inability to chat women up isn’t your biggest issue.

Anyways, does anyone have an idea on Simmons & Simmons’s pay scale in SG? Are they at the same level with BM?

That's not an alpha male, that's a beta cuck. Your wife will likely marry you for your partnership prospects but get railed by ITE Chad's while you're pulling all nighters.
