I see them about 6 times a year. This eats up most of my salary post-tax to be honest, and I wish I got into Baker Singapore since that's where thr real elites go...

Bristol stands no chance as it is a degree mill. I was from Oxbridge

Lol burn. Honestly, if you’re good enough to get MC and above TC or at least Macs or TS, you will be good enough to also be considering for SG CC or BM. That’s where you want to calculate more and assess where you want to be. Otherwise just go to where you will get a job.

Baker McKenzie is the largest firm in the world by headcount.

It’s an American firm, the prestige you dream about even in your sleep.

It’s reputation is so powerful than it counts the current IMF chief as alumna.

Only the truly elite can get in to that firm.

It is a firm that fascinates and intrigues, the stuff you read from novels as a young impressionable kid.

It’s name is on every major IPO/M&A deal in the world. It is constantly retained by a majority of Fortune 500.

Any lawyer who has been to Baker and can count himself/herself as alumni/alumna has indeed arrive in the legal world.

There is nothing more to achieve in life. It’s success at its finest.

Pls Baker is not any American firm. That's not where it gets its prestige from. The prestige comes from the clientele of F500 bakeries and Macdonald's

(Baker origin story) The Firm opens an office in Hong Kong only to learn that people believe a ghost inhabits the building. An eight-foot-tall statue imported from New Guinea is posted outside the door, and the ghost disappears. The office thrives, becoming one of the largest in the Firm.

1974.
