Should probably qualify that though we're quoting these success stories of with not-the-best grades getting corp TCs,

it's worth mentioning that these guys:
- are still good at legal research and great commercial awareness;
- have attention to detail when drafting docs and are organised with their work;
- are excellent networkers with great eq and social awareness; and
- know their strengths and can play to it (despite any low grades).

so yeah, ymmv

From my interactions, corp people aren’t the brightest legal minds most of the time. They are however excellent networkers and have great EQ.

What are the differences between Principals and Local Principals at Baker Singapore?

mans really got made full equity partner at 6 years PQE (less 2 years training at freshfields)
