It will be a cold day in hell before you can get that kind of info. Law firms here don't even want to disclose their financials when tendering for government work, and often try to worm their way out of providing it.
I also suspect that if the big firms start to reveal their PEP, there will be a lot of very dissatisfied junior equity partners looking to move when they find out how badly they've been shafted by the lao jiao "inner circle".

Boomer partners kicked the ladders of progression down and then expecting their juniors to earn less because "law is a calling", whilst charging exorbitant hourly fees in the past and up till now.

who gives a f**k? it's just good for jlc and academia, maybe litigation
once you start your job, it comes down to whether you are good at your work and whether you can manage projects, service clients well, and bring in business.

TC
Hi seniors,
What are my chances of being shortlisted for an interview with mid tier corp firms like TSMP and Shook Lin if I am a second lower/no cum laude? My seniors have told me not to bother with the larger firms with my grades and only look at the mid tier firms for corp.

what does your work experience look like? if you did a lot of stints in transactional seats (esp corp, maybe even inhouse) and/or get involved in case/negotiation comps and other extracurriculars, this would help to ensure you wouldn't be ruled out
grades aren't everything in corporate, unlike litigation

Also, I think it depends on your batch that year, if applicants are generally of a stronger or weaker caliber. Of course you wouldn’t know this so just apply nothing bad can happen.
Don’t be disheartened if you don’t get a TC at a bigger outfit in any case, you can always move to one down the road and this happens more often than you’d tend to think.

Nonsense! I was in your position.
Grades are not thing they look at. (i.e. internships...)
Please do not give up hope and do apply to both tier.
You may not know the results unless you applied.

Agree, I have a senior who got a M and A TC in one of the firms you mentioned and he is in the last 25% of the cohort. Heard from those who know him that his GPA is barely above 3.0. He has consistently interned in the same firm every vacation and was not only rewarded with a TC in that firm but he claimed he was also offered a TC at another international firm when he did an internship with them in his final year.
