Funny although now I’m holding the consulting development analyst title, I’m still doing business analyst role in projects cos I’m in business analysis pod. Tried asking to be put into change management pod but was rejected. So no point of me going through so much hassle to switch job title to be doing exactly the same tasks at the end. Consulting development analyst in business analysis pod is just a facade, consulting role name but end up is just Business Analyst aka same job as business and integration analysts.

To people who want to choose pods or is lucky to switch, if you want consulting, better to go into change management pod. Business analysis pod is as the name BA, not management consulting.
To be clear, by right BA pod analysts are supposed to work on business cases and a identifying the value of our business solutions to the client. But projects like this don’t come by frequently. Hence, as of now, there is no difference between a BA pod analyst and a functional analyst from delivery lifecycle.

However, the key difference is - business analysis pods are aligned to consulting - TS&A, while DLC is aligned to tech.

Even within management consulting, there are different pillars like Capital Markets, T&O etc. I’m not sure why you think that it’s lucky to be in change management pod. I’ve personally done change management and I don’t really see myself as a huge impact to a project thus far.

Any functional analysts that’s in charge of a work stream would have way more contribution imho.

Actually do you actually like doing change management or because you think it's 'consulting'. Honestly I would not worry so much about the pods or titles but focus on progressing up the levels

LOL YOUR BS ZERO 88. Just a page ago you claim S&C real consulting, and previously you also say you’re from consulting. Now you come up with this bs. Now we know all the trolls have been from who. Next time don’t forget to sign out of your account before posing as someone else.

This is also why you see change management pod with really little people literally 4x lesser than the BA and other tech and software pods. HR doesn’t automatically promote change management pod or even offer it. People are selected into it by project request.

With that said, no one is saying that tech is bad or whatsoever. It really depends on your strengths and most importantly interest. If you’re in tech but is more interested in consulting, then I guess try applying for certain project roles that touches a little on consulting and see if you really enjoy it. If so and you want to switch to consulting, yes it’s really tough, but under TAP I guess you can switch to BA pod as the closest.
Change mgmt sucks - just creating slides to teach users how to use system only

Fake news lol. Can understand why you’re salty and angry at not being able to get consulting, but understand properly what each role does and their exact scope of work before sprouting nonsense. Do note for tech and software to switch to consulting is literally a flat 0.005% chance, whereas for consulting to go to tech is like a anytime 97% possibility.

With your mindset, we’ll you won’t survive in Accenture, let alone any other place that requires collaboration.

Boo so sad so salty. You rock you the best lollll. Then you do it lo complain so much. Consulting people do more than what you’re merely saying bro, even before you got things to do and implement, consulting people see the one who discuss and finalise the run down and what’s required for the project. No consulting people in project then who teach users how to use the systems you’re assist to implement? You can do ah, think about it. If people like you can do then why bother having this S&C function in Accenture or why would projects instead of using their own people like you to do it and instead willing to add cost to hire consulting side to come in.

Think consulting focus consultants want to be in your implementation projects meh lol, we also don’t want hoh. go and educate yourself. Implementation sucks - just implementing and pushing in codes only. No soft skills, can’t present, like to claim they are doing real technology work. Lying to yourself only.
